Both the Heads of Tabla Dayan and Bayan are made independently on the individual shell, which is why both drums sound good. Dayan can be tuned as requested. Bayan sounds deep Bass. It is easy to play, which means you don’t need to apply muscular power to get the sound out.
Product Materials
The best quality handmade, fully treated Seasonal walnut wood Dayan and handmade steel bayan. Dayan and Bayan heads are handmade and made of fully treated natural skin. Bayan string is specially made of a non-stretchable polyester-cotton Strap and Dayan String with traditional natural skin straps/thongs. 8 Wooden dowels fixed on Dayan for fine-tuning.

Bayan Head is Approximately 9” in diameter, and Dayan Head is approximately 5” or 5 ½” in diameter. The Height of Dayan is 10” or 10.5” and the Height of Bayan is 11”
