JAS crafts each Dilruba, Israj, Sarangi, Saranda, and Taus from premium treated and seasoned Toon wood. Treated natural skin parchment is carefully fitted to bring out the full nuance and resonance of bowed strings. Sarangi and Saranda are strung with polished Sa and Pa JAS England gut strings, while the Israj, Dilruba, and Taus use high-quality German steel, brass, and bronze strings. Every peg hole is precisely reamed to ensure stable tuning.
JAS bows are made with fine natural hair and include a mechanical tension adjuster for smooth control.
