This Chromatic Shruti box is tuned to the 440Hz Scale, C to C, Middle Octave, 13 notes. It has the finest quality high-tech JAS English Steel Reeds, which have been specially made for the Shruti box. JAS English reeds require low air pressure to produce a long-sustained tone. JAS English reeds have a long life and stay in tune for years. JAS improved the design of the Shruti box by adding a multi-fold feeder below, which makes the pumping action very light and smooth, and a multi-fold reservoir below allows the Shruti box to produce long-sustained sound. The body is made from the best quality Teak wood and has excellent workmanship. The Shruti box is supplied with a good-quality padded carry bag.
Product Materials
Cabinet: The cabinet of the JAS Shruti box is made from good-quality seasoned Teak Wood, stained, and finished with lacquer.
Bellow: Double-fold bellows are made of good-quality laminated cardboard. French polish, Wood colour sealer, and lacquer are applied to finish the instrument.
Reeds: The finest quality Handmade english reeds are fixed on the reed board inside the Shruti box's chamber.
