A high-quality JAS Tabla Set, Tabla Dayan, is made of seasoned walnut wood. Tabla Bayan made of Steel. Both the Heads of the Tabla, Dayan and Bayan, are made independently on their respective shells, which is why both drums sound good. Dayan sounds ‘C’ or ‘C#’, and Bayan sounds deep Bass. It is easy to play, so you don’t need to apply muscular power to get the sound out.

- Bayan string is specially made of a non-stretchable polyester-cotton Strap
- Dayan String with traditional natural skin straps/thongs.
- 8 Wooden dowels fixed on Dayan for fine-tuning.

Bayan Head is Approximately 9” in diameter, and Dayan Head is approximately 5” or 5 ½” in diameter. The Height of Dayan is 10” or 10.5” and the Height of Bayan is 11”
